BIOGRAPHY
Aya was born in Boston, Massachusetts on November 20, 1972. She is of mixed ethnicity; her father whose name is unrevealed is a journalist, is Caucasian while her mother who is known as Mariko was Japanese. This gives her a unique appearance as she boasts many Asian facial features, such as the shape of her face and eyes, while possessing blue eyes and fair blonde hair. Aya was born with an eye defect. She had a sister named Maya who, along with her mother, died in an automobile accident in or around December 1978.
After Maya's death, her organs were preserved, which allowed for one of her corneas to be transplanted into Aya, in 1979. At the same time, one of Maya's kidneys was transplanted into a young girl named Melissa Pearce. Unknown to any of the doctors, Maya Brea's mitochondria were highly evolved and began changing Aya and Melissa's genetic structure.
As a young woman, Aya studied criminology at the University of Virginia and was involved in their ROTC program, but any record of military service is never mentioned within the game. She later became a detective with the NYPD 17th precinct. Within the first 6 months of working at the precinct, Aya became involved in an incident known as the New York Blockade Incident to the general public. As an officer, she became part of the "father and daughter" team where she was partnered up with Daniel "Bo" Dollis, a veteran cop, who can be considered overly protective of her at worst.
APPEARANCES
PARASITE EVE I
On December 24, 1997, Aya attended an opera performance at Carnegie Hall with her date (whose name is never mentioned), which starred Melissa Pearce as the lead. During the performance, Maya's advanced mitochondria, which had lain dormant in Melissa for eleven years, awakened and transformed her into Mitochondria Eve. As her first act against humankind, Eve killed everyone in Carnegie Hall via spontaneous human combustion, except for Aya who was immune to the effect. Aya instead gained Parasite Energy (PE) powers.
During the next six days, Aya fought Eve and the creatures she spawned, known as Neo-Mitochondrial Creatures or NMCs, all across Manhattan, greatly assisted by the incredible powers she started to exhibit. Aya would later discover that she was granted great power due to the fact that she possessed Maya's mitochondria (transferred to her body during the corneal transplant), but it was unable to take control of her as it did Melissa because of Aya's evolved cell nuclei. She also experienced her sister's final memory about the hospital. Aya fought and destroyed a strain of rapidly evolving mitochondria that threatened to enslave all humanity. Eventually, Aya engaged Eve in a showdown on Liberty Island, in which Eve was killed. After this however, she had to destroy the Ultimate Being, that Eve gave birth to. After an ongoing battle between her humanity and evolution, Aya successfully managed to destroy the creature with a little help from Daniel and Kunihiko Maeda (a Japanese scientist assisting them with advice in these matters). She soon became a hero among the government ranks for her courageous acts while few civilians are aware of the details of the event.
After the events in the game transpire, she, along with her friends try to make up for a lost Christmas by going to the opera at Carnegie Hall once again. During this time, Aya communicates with the entire audience's mitochondria and their eyes begin to glow a pinkish red. The meaning behind this ending is debated by many players. Some say that this is what Eve meant when she told Aya: "The more you use those powers, the more you become like me." This leads up to this ending possibly being non-canonical, where if the player plays through the Chrysler Building and defeats the Purebred Eve, Aya will lose her mitochondrial powers (albeit gaining newer, less superior ones leading up to the sequel) thus, saving the audience as well as all of mankind once again.
PARASITE EVE II
A few months after Eve's rampage in New York City, Aya left the force and joined a newly-formed branch of the FBI known as the Mitochondrion Investigation and Suppression Team or MIST. The purpose of MIST, based out of Los Angeles, is to hunt down and destroy any remaining NMCs.[2] During her time as a MIST Agent, Aya had always worked alone due to the abnormality of her powers. "I try not to show others my mitochondrial powers. I can see the fear in their eyes." Another fact worth noting is that due to her awakened mitochondria in her cells, Aya appears younger than her biological age. Despite having this as a benefit, Aya would be happier just living one normal life rather than living into another century beyond the 21st. It is also revealed that she doesn't drink, and that she doesn't sleep well ever since the New York blockade incident. She described her dreams to Pierce that she always dreamed about Maya asking for her help, during which the former was surprised to hear that she had a sister, implying that nobody knew she had one.
In early September of 2000, Aya was following a lead to a tiny town called Dryfield in the Mojave Desert where she met a 29-year-old P.I. from Texas called Kyle Madigan (who she formed a partnership with). With Kyle's co-operation, Aya soon discovered a strange shadow government facility called Neo-Ark where scientists were using Aya's DNA to breed a race of Artificial Neo-Mitochondrial Creatures. To control the ANMCs, the Neo-Ark directors brainwashed a young girl named Eve, a clone of Aya. Given Eve's age and various clues in the game, Eve is thought to be a clone that ages rapidly, considering she looks 10 years old and was cloned after Aya's mitochondria was awakened in 1997. Two more disturbing theories which have been put forward are that Eve is actually a clone of Maya Brea or possibly a clone of Aya made before Aya's mitochondria awakened, thus suggesting the shadow government knew about Aya's potential. After discovering that Eve, as well as the ANMCs were all made from her, she felt obligated to "finish what she started" and once again, save humanity from an ominous fate which was ultimately the cause of her own physical existence.
After the destruction of the Neo-Ark facility, as well as her "struggle" having finally ended, Aya left MIST, any documents containing information regarding the NMCs were disposed of by the US Government, she took the young Eve in, forming a motherly/sisterly bond with her, and thanks to one of her friends in MIST, Rupert Broderick, pulled some strings and created a profile for Eve saying that she's Aya's sister, no questions asked. Aya's boss, Eric Baldwin was discovered to be a mole for the shadow government and was ultimately locked behind bars for treason courtesy of Aya learning so from another one of her friends, Pierce Carradine. Baldwin's place leading MIST was taken by Rupert Broderick following the inside investigation. Kyle Madigan (who disappeared after the Neo Ark events) meets with Aya and Eve in N.Y, and it is hinted that both Aya and Kyle are getting involved in a romantic relationship.
THE 3RD BIRTHDAY
Aya and Kyle were planned to be wed on December 24th, 2010, which is known in the game as Time Zero. However, before they could exchange vows, a group of SWAT members loaded gunfire on her and Kyle. Kyle Madigan survived the gunfire and was hospitalized. Eve, desperate to save Aya, switched bodies through her mitochondria powers, which resulted in "Overdive" being born. When Overdiving, however, Aya's soul/consciousness was destroyed and reborn as the Twisted. Without a consciousness in Eve's body, Eve had been pronounced as dead which is why Kyle later states, "...Eve is dead." The death of Eve's body resulted in the creation of the "High Ones".
With Eve's consciousness in Aya's body, Hyde Borh found Eve lying in the front of Saint Thomas Church. Eve had forgotten all of her memories, and for the next 3 years, Eve assumed an identity of Aya Brea. Eve joined the CTI in order to fight against the Twisted. With her memories gone, Kyle simply assumed that Aya was suffering from amnesia, not knowing that "Aya" was truly Eve.
In the end of the game, Eve returns to Time Zero, back in her own body. Aya appears and tells Eve to shoot her. Aya and Eve Overdive and switch consciousnesses and Eve (as Aya) kills Aya (in Eve's body). When Aya is shot, she can be heard saying what sounds like "I won't disappear." Eve is now permanently in Aya's body, as Aya's consciousness and Eve's body have, apparently, been removed from the timeline. Eve realizes that Aya has sacrificed her own life in order to prevent the creation of the Twisted, thus saving humanity one last time.
During the secret ending of The 3rd Birthday, a blond woman with a hair style similar to Aya's walks by Eve in the middle of a snow-filled street and dressed a large brown trench coat. She wishes Eve a happy birthday, remarking that it's her fourth, before disappearing into thin air as Eve searches around wildly. It could have been Aya's voice and Eve's unconscious just imagining her, Aya making a final appearance by taking over someone's body, or simply all part of Eve's imagination. The woman is taller than Eve, even when she's in Aya's body.

BIOGRAPHY
Kyle is a Texas born Special Agent that works directly for the President of the United States. He is assigned a mission to investigate the Neo-Mitochondrial activity in Dryfield during the events of Parasite Eve II. During the events of Parasite Eve II, Kyle met Aya Brea after she saved him from the Puma-like NMCs. At first, Aya can't stand Kyle, calling him a 'bit of a Jerk'. Slowly, Kyle fell in love with Aya (even going as far as saying that he never fell for any girl so hard before), and it seems like Aya also began to fall in love with Kyle during the Parasite Eve II. After the Dryfield events, Kyle chose to resign from being a Special Agent, which forced the President to give out an order to search for him in order to be brought in due to him knowing too much. He was seen afterwards in the Natural Museum in New York, meeting with Aya and Eve, which brings a smile to Aya's face.
In The 3rd Birthday, it is revealed that Kyle proposed to Aya, but on their wedding day they were shot by a SWAT team, causing Aya to lose her memories, while Kyle suddenly disappeared with Aya's sister, Eve.
APPEARANCES
PARASITE EVE II
Aya comes across Madigan in Dryfield while he is hiding from some NMCs, when the two meet he claims to be a Private Investigator. Throughout the events of Parasite Eve II he meets with Aya several times and they work together. Late in the game it is revealed that he really is a Special Agent working directly for the US President. Madigan loses a leg below the knee at the end of the game, he survives though and is seen in an ending meeting Aya and 'Eve' (the young girl they rescue) sometime after the game's end.
THE 3RD BIRTHDAY
In The 3rd Birthday, both Kyle and Eve have disappeared while Aya has also lost her memories. He proposed to Aya on 2008. Screenshots and trailer footage has shown Kyle looking more grizzled than his Parasite Eve II appearance ,and shows him talking to Aya and walking off with Eve. Another trailer shows him and Aya fighting in a burning area. However on their wedding day they were attacked by a SWAT team and he and Eve disappeared on that very night.
He later appeared to a dying Aya in her battle against Hyde. He says he loves her.
In the ending, Kyle is alive and searching for "Eternity" ( Aya ).

CHARACTER
Eve is the clone of Aya Brea.
Eve was found by Aya inside the shelter deep in the underground ark called Neo-Ark after Aya battled through the defenses of Eve’s room. She calmed Eve down and removed her helmet, which was amplifying her powers tenfold. Calming Eve down made her lose her control over the ANMC in the Neo-Ark, and Dryfield, and Mojave Desert. With no master to control them they merely passed out where they stood, allowing the GOLEM defense units to retake the shelter and ark without any resistance.
AFTER PARASITE EVE II
After the commemorative in Parasite Eve II, Aya adopted little Eve. She went to school and was very popular. She is curious, warm and happy. What are familiar with Eve and Aya is happening now, is still unknown, it's also noted Eve is the first human with also wakened mitochondria that hasn't gone insane or tried to create a U.B though that was the reason behind her creation.

EVE'S AGE
Understanding Eve's age can be difficult. In the conclusion of The 3rd Birthday which begins again in December of 2010, it can be concluded that Eve has the mentality of a 20 something year old girl, now in Aya's slow-aging body that is at least 25 year old physically.
In Parasite Eve II, which takes place in 2000, Aya noted that Eve's x-rays(when examined with the X button) in the operation room looked like those of a 10 year old. One may argue that Eve cannot be literally 10 years old because she is a clone. However, regardless of contrary beliefs that Eve does not even have the mentality of a young child, Eve is shown to understand what Aya is saying and can speak coherently near the end of the game before the final boss. Likewise, in the good ending of Parasite Eve II, Aya states that Eve is has attended junior high for a month, reconfirming the fact that Eve has the mentality of 11-14 (depending on which grade she is in, which isn't stated) year old since a year has passed since the events of Parasite Eve II, and that the typical age for a child in junior high is 11-14 years old. When Time Zero occurred in December of 2010 in The 3rd Birthday, Eve had the mentality of a young 20 something year old girl at the time of Aya's death. Which can also be reconfirmed by the character notes in the game, which stated that Eve graduated from State University of New York in 2008.

CHARACTER
Maeda is a 35 year old Japanese scientist who has a strong interest in mitochondria and the original Eve. After hearing of the incident at Carnegie Hall, he flies to New York City. He is a very intelligent person and helps Aya out throughout the game. He also develops the mitochondrial bullets laced with DNA that helps Aya kill the Ultimate Being.
He is very shy and polite and because of this he can find a hard time in saying things compared to Aya and Daniel. He also seems to have a crush on Aya but never has admitted it. Throughout the game, he gives Aya good luck charms -- which serve no purpose ingame.
PARASITE EVE II
Maeda doesn't make an appearance in the 2nd game, but is referenced a few times and it is also revealed that Pierce Carradine is now working with him on "super human" study after the events of the game.
".44 Maeda sp" bullets are available for the Mongoose magnum, which is some of the most powerful ammo available for Aya.
THE 3RD BIRTHDAY
After hearing of the appearance of the Twisted, Maeda immediately sets off for New York in order to research them. Maeda purchased an old warehouse which he converted into his laboratory where he can continue his research in peace. After the CTI murders in December 2013, Maeda once again met up with Aya. The two of them continued their research into the Twisted and helped Aya use her Overdive ability once again, even though she can no longer go to the past with it.
In February 2014, Maeda supports Aya when she overdives to the Babel, often encouraging her and informing her of the current situation. His current whereabouts is his protection shelter in which Aya Overdives. Maeda also notes that his current residents is invulnerable and will have no interruptions while Aya Overdives.
HYDE BOHR

Hyde Bohr was born in Denmark and grew up with his physicist father, as such he was constantly surrounded by famous names in the field.
Originally emigrated to America after Graduation, Hyde devoted himself to research in the field of quantum mechanics. In 1999 he was invited to become a project manager for the Defense Sciences Office at DARPA (the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency), a unit of the US Department of Defense that was researching and developing new technologies for the nation's military. In 2005 he entered the FBI's research center, where he lead his own forensics team before becoming the Director of Counterterrorism/Counterintelligence.
On Christmas Eve 2010, he found Aya Brea unconscious in the snow outside Manhattan's St. Thomas Cathedral and took her in. Around the same time, he became the head of the newly formed Counterproliferation Strategy Support Division of the CTD, forerunner to the CTI.
As the chief researcher of the CTI, his duties included revamping it, loading the development team as senior engineer, and heading up the Overdive Investigation Unit.
Hyde had planned the entire thing on what happened during 3rd Birthday. Hyde had planned on having Aya kill off the High Ones so that once enough "blood" is needed Hyde would create the Grand Babel.
Hyde himself was a High One due to him being in the church with Aya and Eve at the time of the raid. Hyde still had his memories and Eve deteriorating body led the creation of the High Ones.
Hyde's killing of the other High Ones was used so that only he could go to Time Zero and see the Mother to create advanced lifeforms.
Hyde and Aya fought at Overdive Time on Rockafeller Center for a grueling battle.
Finally in one last battle, Hyde and Aya fought each others psyche and in the end Hyde lost and vanished and allowing Aya to go to Time Zero to fully restore her memories and to see the events that unfolded of the creations of the Twisted and the High Ones.
Ultimately Hyde died within Time Zero being shot by Aya countless times.
THELONIOUS CRAY

~Major character in The 3rd Birthday. He is a former Delta Force Solider turned CTI member.
BACKGROUND
Cray was born in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. At the age of five his parents divorced and he was sent to live with his mother, where he grew up in extreme poverty.
Before coming to work in the CTI, he had been part of the elite Delta Force unit of the US Army, specializing in counterterroism. Cray was enlisted in Captain Russo's squad, one that undertook only the trickiest and most dangerous missions. Although he's ably equipped for counterterrorism missions, Cray is distinguished by skill in close-quarters combat, which is truly second to none.
Cray ran a hostage rescue mission in the Grand Pacific Airlines hijacking, taking command of the Red Squad as they subdued the hijackers and secured the hostages, bringing the event to its conclusion with no casualties. It was this feat that got him assigned to Russo's squad.
As they racked up more and more victories, Russo's squad became known far and wide as the pride of the Delta Force and the terrorists' biggest threat. All that came to an end with the failure of Operation Red Fog in 2012, Delta Force was annihilated and all squad members were killed in action. Cray was the only survivor of Russo's squad, he hadn't been part of the fatal mission, instead assuming his new post at the CTI.
In the spring of 2002, he married Sandra Smith, an exchange student nurse he had met while in the hospital. Their daughter Isabella was born the following year, her doll-like features of black eyes and blond hair making her one of his biggest weakness. He always takes her for ice cream at the Harvest Town food stall in Chinatown because she won't eat it anywhere else. When he found out the ice cream maker was a pastry chef at a famous Seattle hotel, he began to realize she was a young gourmet at her age and began to worry about her future.
ROLE IN THE GAME
In Chapter 0 and 1, Cray is shown to help Aya with the basics and calling her "rookie".
During Chapter 2, Hyde Bohr says that Cray died in the Spanish Harlem 3 days ago, and it was Aya's mission to save him. After Aya destroyed the Babel on the Harlem, Cray is safe and still alive.
In Chapter 3, it is shown that Cray was annoyed as to why Aya had to go on the mission on her own and storms out of the CTI Overdive room. As Aya progresses and finally meets Russo, it is shown that Cray killed Russo and the rest of the team to get to "Isabella", he however along with Aya dove into the Big Orb. Cray is shown to disappear and before he disappeared he said to find the thing that mattered most.
He later appeared to a dying Aya Brea in her battle against Hyde. He asked Aya to dive into Aya and supporting her to defeat Hyde
In the ending, Cray is still alive due to the Twisted not being created as well as his wife and Isabella not being in the car accident.
DR.BLANK

~ Young man who is surrounded by mystery. His real name is unknown and is only known as "Blank" because his computer handle means "empty".
HISTORY
Blank was born in Jangseong, South Korea. At the age of 14, Blank was arrested for stealing NSA data which he got by using a new version of the Trojan virus, which he developed himself.
His sentence was reduced as a bargain of him working for the government, by hacking and taking down many terrorist servers. Due to death threats in his sister cell, Blank erased his name and all records of his past and only now goes by the name of Dr. Blank.
WORKING FOR THE CTI
Blank was requested to join the CTI by his boss and long time colleague, Hyde Bohr in order to help develop and control the Overdive machine. He is often the main person on the radio nagivating Aya through Manhatten, seeing as Blank made the machine and knows the most about it. In the third episode, he attempts to stop Cray from disappearing, but when he gets on the rooftop, he sees Cray vanish only to not remember why he was there thanks to Aya's Overdive.He witnesses the Great Babel being constructed shortly after Cray's death. On Christmas Day in 2013, he is killed by Kyle Madigan during the CTI members. It is mentioned through his bio at the end of the game after you pass episode six, he was suspicious of Hyde's new personality, but figured it was stress that changed Hyde.
GABRIELLE MONSIGNY

Gabrielle is a highly skilled sniper and trains Aya Brea how to use one. It is most likely that she is French due to her last name, Monsigny.
PERSONALITY
Gabrielle is a warm and gentle woman who is proud of her skills as a former SWAT Sniper. She often talks to Aya as she is the only other woman in the CTI. Gabrielle gets along with all CTI agents, even Hunter Owen, who often praises Gabrielle of her skills unlike the other CTI members who he'd usually insult or push around. Gabrielle cheers Aya through Episode 2.
HISTORY
Gabrielle was born in Baltimore, Maryland. She was part of the LAPD before she joined SWAT. She was recognized for her high talent with the Sniper and was often called to take care of hostage situations.
Gabrielle was romantically involved with fellow SWAT team member Scott Gray, but after finding out he was a spy, she reported him to her superiors and he was executed. She would later join the CTI at the request of Hyde Bohr.
ROLE IN THE GAME
Gabrielle first appears in episode 2, asking Aya to use her body when she uses Overdive 3 days ago to stop the Twisted. 3 days ago on December 21st, 2013, Gabrielle is overlooking the attack from a helicopter and spots Aya and several SWAT officers trapped and being killed by a large Twisted. Gabrielle saves Aya by shooting the Twisted's beam. Aya then takes over Gabrielle's body and kills the Twisted from the helicopter that Gabrielle is in. Throughout the episode, Gabrielle goes on the radio numerous times and praises and cheers Aya along, also commenting on her skills of dealing with the Twisted. At one point while talking with Aya however, Gabrielle starts crying out in pain and asks for help, and Aya rushes to save her friend.
Meanwhile, on December 25th, Hunter Owen sets off some sleeping gas in the Overdive room, knocking everyone, including Gabrielle, unconscious. Hunter contacts Aya and beckons her farewell.
Aya reaches a street where Gabrielle's coordinates said she was, but she finds the place to be completely abandoned. A large Twisted then appears and attacks Aya. After a long fight, Aya Overdives into the creature and discovers that the Twisted was in fact Gabrielle. The Twisted then begins to attack Aya again while Gabrielle begs Aya to stop her and she keeps saying "Sorry, I'm sorry". The Twisted is defeated and Aya pleads to Gabrielle to come with her but Gabrielle apologizes to Aya, knowing that her time has come. Gabrielle then disintegrates in front of a distraught Aya. Gabrielle wakes up on the 25th and points her gun at Hunter, and he simply laughs and bemuses her. Gabrielle then disappears and fades away from existence as she has now, in fact, died 4 days earlier.
She later appeared to a dying Aya in her battle against Hyde. She asked Aya to dive into her because she wants Aya to defeat Hyde.
However, as time reverted, Gabrielle still lives.
HUNTER OWEN

Head of the CTI, Hunter "Boss" Owen (Karud Owen in the Japanese version), grew up in Joliet, Illinois before he graduated Yale and joined the FBI soon after. He was "discovered" by the director, distinguished himself as an agent, and was promoted to deputy director in 2008.
In the same month CTI was created as a counter-Twisted investigatory agency, the President appointed him its chief. He has a resentment, however, as he still wants to be a high-ranked FBI member. As such he makes his hate for the team (except Gabrielle who has proven herself capable) and the work they do known. Hunter also hates Aya the most, he considers her a Twisted and isn't afraid to tell her so or keep her in a cell instead of giving her a room like Bohr suggested.
Because of his position and hatred of the work, he chooses to spend his time with the FBI and manipulating his role into effecting his FBI standing. Originally he died in the December 2013 attack on FBI headquarters.
In the end shown in some of the character files after finishing the game, it is shown that he was arrested for leaking secrets to the Russians.

Emily is a young teenage girl who is considered very quirky, friendly, and likeable by most of her peers. She is also very smart, especially in science. She also seems to take a liking to rock music.
HISTORY
Emily was born in London, England but moved to New York at the age of 2. Emily is the daughter of British banking tycoon Christopher Jefferson. At the age of 14 Emily attended the State University of New York as part of an advanced placement college study program.
When Eve started high school, Emily instantly became her friend. On December 24th, 2010, Emily attended Aya Brea's and Kyle Madigan's wedding and was seen excitedly talking outside the church with Gabrielle and Cray about Aya's bouquet which Gabrielle and her jokingly argued about whose catching it. Emily was not harmed during the police raid as she was outside with Gabrielle and Cray.
THE 3RD BIRTHDAY
After two years, Emily missed her best friend who mysteriously disappeared after the wedding. At some point, she also managed to work out Eve's "secret". The happiness and excitement of working it out along with her connection with Eve and Aya made her become a High One, a very powerful Twisted that stayed human until activated.
On December 24th, 2012, Emily attended the Sacrifice concert and because of the tower of Babel appearing along with mass Twisted she was completely taken over. Aya later found Emily walking down a corridor but before she could do anything Emily walked off. Later on Aya confronted her and Emily started to transform into a large Twisted who then attacked Aya while often calling her "sister" and asking her why she was attacking her. Emily was defeated and disintegrated before Aya could learn her name.
Since time later reverted itself and the Twisted were never created, Emily is still alive. It is also shown in some files once completing the game that Emily is now a junior assistant for a University in the physics department.
GINGER

Ginger, real name Kristina Ruskin, is a character from The 3rd Birthday. She is the lead singer of the band playing during the Sacrifice Incident on Christmas Eve 2012, and while her role is minor, she seems to have a sixth sense about life.
She is the daughter of violinist Erhard Ruskin, who was a strict father that directed the German Symphony Orchestra. At 13 she rebelled against him by starting her own rock band, Time for Truth. They had then caught the attention of a major British record label that lead her to a professional debut at 15. Her first album, "Killing Hour", sold over two million copies, an unprecedented performance for a debut album.
Soon after she moved the United States, she had disbanded Time for Truth at 20 to take a break. Her and her former band mates still continued to play concerts whenever they felt like it, causing the media and her fan base to still follow her closely.
It is thought that Ginger died during the Sacrifice Incident, a handwritten will was found in her room stating all her financial assets were to be given to disadvantaged children.
ALTERNATE TIMELINE
As a result of Eve Brea being removed from the timeline completely at the end of The 3rd Birthday, Ginger's history changes. She still becomes a famous singer, but she was fatally stabbed by a crazed fan in Central Park in 2009. It was revealed after her death she had been traveling to disaster-stricken areas and working on behalf of many aid providers and relief efforts, all anonymously. Once this news was revealed, a group of young people in England commemorated Ginger's inspirational life by establishing the Ginger Skimbleshanks Fund to help children around the world who are suffering from hunger, poverty, disaster, and war. (The fund takes its name from Ginger's favorite character in the famous musical Cats.)
It seems no matter how Aya changes the past, Ginger was meant to die young.
PIERCE CARRADINE

in charge of M.I.S.T.'s training area and usually delivers news to Aya Brea when they're on the phone.He doesn't like guns, he does the technical work. He's rather laid back and considers Aya a close friend, trusting her words even when she can't prove herself at the time (Also, it seems he developed feelings for her).
When Aya begins to suspect Eric Baldwin during the game, Pierce researches the man and any time they're on the phone he seems to come up with something new for her. He makes the deal with Gary Douglas about selling Aya guns and is always ready to get her the backup she needs.
Pierce shows up in person at Dryfield in the Mojave Desert, but gets hurt. Aya then needs to get ice to him quickly. He later helps Aya at the Neo Ark by calling in the marines.
He also is working with Kunihiko Maeda on a project together after the events of Parasite Eve II.
RUPERT BRODERICK

~ Elderly man dressed in cowboy clothes who runs a auto-shop in the middle of the desert. An intimidating man in his own right, he's a little untrusting of everyone he comes across but eventually accepts Aya Brea as a decent person.
Gary seems to be used to the creatures attacking people in the area; he escapes them every time and always has his trusty shotgun in hand in case anything happens.
During the boss fight in his hotel, if Aya manages to save Flint, his dog, he gives her a new gun and respects her while forming his version of a friendship with her. If Aya doesn't manage to save his dog, he leads her to a plate of chicken. After the boss battle, Gary sells Aya weapons and is promised to get real money for helping her from the organization.
FLINT
Flint first appears while Aya Brea is staying in the Mojave Desert. Flint will help Aya in more ways than one throughout the game. Flint is obedient and smart as seen as he leads Aya to the underground tunnels so that she could investigate a scream that she and Gary heard earlier.
During the night The Burner attacks, and if Aya doesn't deal with it quickly it will stomp off killing Flint in the process. If Aya does take care of the Creature, Flint will survive and stay with Gary in the desert. Flint later appears near the end of the game at the military compound with a canister attached to his collar along with a note from Gary.
ERIC BALDWIN

The leader of M.I.S.T. during Parasite Eve II, Eric Baldwin was a strict man who expected excellence from his agents. He had a cold and calculating demeanor, which made him push his people to finish the mission, but congratulated his people on a job well done at the end of their missions. All that he wanted was to let people to be able to live their lives in peace. He was the superior of Aya, Jodie Bouquet, Rupert Broderick, Pierce Carradine, and others.
Aya Brea and other members were unsure about him and his background but never said otherwise. Some of them also respected him enough to call him “Hal”. He gave orders to Aya and the others through the phone throughout the game. He discussed tactics with Aya, Pierce, and Rupert. He requested that Aya sent to Dryfield in the Mojave Desert, which lead the discovery of the Neo Ark. During the secret events and ending, it's learned that Baldwin was working for the Ark Shadow Government, which built the Neo Ark under the Mojave Desert whom Aya had been trying to stop the entire game.
JODIE BOUQUET

~Only other female M.I.S.T. member besides Aya Brea and considers her a dear friend. She runs the weapon depot alone. She always tries to give Aya advice and will complain about how certain ammo only belongs with certain guns and whoever doesn't know she doesn't like.
Jodie will sell Aya guns for BP, which Aya can earn by completing the shooting gallery in the training area. When the game is beaten and other things are unlocked, they will first become available with her.
MAYA BREA
Aya Brea's deceased twin sister that died along with her mother in a car accident. Because Aya needed a cornea transplant, Maya's cornea was removed and given to Aya, thus causing Maya's mitochondria to reside within Aya. Maya's memory of her death was appearing right before Aya. Her kidney was also given to Melissa Pearce, who would later on become the 2nd Eve.
When Aya was about to be taken over by her own mitochondria, Maya's personality was fighting the Eve persona to protect her sister by claiming that she has to go home. Aya realizes that Maya will always be with her.

BIOGRAPHY
At age 11, Melissa had a kidney transplant, because hers was failing, unknowingly to her the kidney belonged to Maya Brea, thus her mitochondria lay dormant inside her for 11 years. Maya's mitochondria had made Melissa ill, forcing her to take medication in order for the kidney not to be rejected. Melissa blamed the medication for her illness. At the same time however, Melissa's medication was also strengthening her mitochondria.
In 1997, Melissa wanted to perform in an opera show, but was declined the role she wanted. After becoming very ill, Melissa overdosed on immunosupressants which only powered her mitochondria further. After this, the actress who had the lead role suddenly died in an apartment fire, thus giving Melissa the role of lead character, and at the same time, put much guilt and stress onto Melissa.
On December 24th 1997 Melissa performed in New York at Carnegie Hall. Aya Brea, who also has her twin sister's mitochondria, attended Melissa's performance. While performing, Melissa's mitochondria strongly reacts with Aya's mitochondria and Melissa's mitochondria fully takes over her. Eve awakens and her mitochondria reacts with the audience's, thus setting the whole audience and cast on fire by spontaneous human combustion (all except Aya and her date). Aya gives chase as Melissa runs off. Melissa is last seen playing the "Main Theme" on the piano before smashing it and changing into a more advanced form, Mitochondria Eve.
DANIEL DOLLIS

~ Daniel "Bo" Dollis is a veteran detective from the 17th precinct of NYPD. Daniel is Aya Brea's partner. During the events of Parasite Eve, he helps her to fight Mitochondria Eve.
Daniel serves as a supporting role for the Aya, giving her encouraging words of experience while he attempts to function with the terms of his divorce and the eventual death of his ex-wife. Prior to Aya's confrontation of the Ultimate Being, he nearly sacrifices himself in order to deliver special mitochondria-laced bullets to assist her in the battle. He also finally reconsiders the effects of his neglect of his family in place of his profession and is shown spending time with his son. In the events of the second game, he is presumed to be still working at the NYPD police district. Though he doesn't make an actual appearance, he's briefly mentioned by Aya as being a terrible cook, and is compared with Gary Douglas; Aya considered both men were "stubborn, but with a heart of gold".
He is also the father of Ben Dollis, whom has the sole custody since he got divorced from his ex-wife Lorraine one year prior to the game. Although he is unable to take care of his son properly due to the devotion for his job, Daniel has a strong paternal sense and shows a protective attitude towards Ben and also towards Aya, for who really cares deeply as it is demonstrated through the story.
In the game, it is stated that he joined the police in the same promotion as Douglas Baker, the chief of the homicide department and, at the same time, his current boss.
